Alan Long

Alan Long has a strong background in network engineering, with experience in firewall management and various network technologies. Alan worked as a Network Engineer at Vesta Corporation from July 2015 to present, focusing on Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, as well as other technologies such as F5, Bluecoat, and PulseSecure. Prior to that, they were a Network Engineer at ACI Worldwide from April 2011 to July 2015. From April 2007 to April 2011, they served as the Director of Network Operations at Aerowire. Alan started their career as a Sr Network Admin at Intercall in August 1998 and worked there until April 2007.

Alan Long attended Auburn University from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics.
