Jacob Ladd

Jacob Ladd possesses extensive experience in biotechnology and research, currently serving as Senior Manager of Fermentation at Vestaron Corporation since February 2020. Previously, Jacob held roles as Associate Scientist and Senior Research Associate at Novozymes from October 2014 to February 2020, and as Senior Research Associate at Nitrate Elimination Company from April 2010 to October 2014, focusing on enzyme production from various microorganisms. Earlier academic research included increasing cellulose production in Poplar species as a Graduate Research Assistant at Dr. Chandrashekhar P. Joshi Research Laboratory. Jacob also gained foundational laboratory skills as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in two separate research labs, contributing to genetic work and plant maintenance. The educational background includes a Master’s degree in Forest Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology from Michigan Technological University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from The Ohio State University.
