Fernando Marques

Fernando Marques is a Manager and Sub Module Owner of Hub Structure at Vestas, bringing over 20 years of expertise in Structural Analysis, Design, and Advanced Research, particularly focusing on metallic structures, material fatigue, and fracture analysis. They hold a Doctorate in Structural Engineering, as well as Master's and Licentiate degrees, all from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto. Fernando has also contributed to academia as a teacher and researcher at FEUP and has worked with the Laboratory of Vibrations and Structural Monitoring. Their past roles include Senior Civil Structural Engineer and Technical Coordinator, where they specialized in advanced numerical engineering and finite element analysis.
