John Nusbaum

John (Jay) Nusbaum is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in diverse areas of law, including telecommunications, public utility, labor and employment, and energy solutions. Beginning as an Associate Attorney at Perkins Coie LLP from September 1996 to May 2005, Nusbaum later served as an Attorney at Integra Telecom from May 2005 to July 2007, focusing on regulatory and government affairs. Transitioning to Vestas-American Wind Technology, Inc., Nusbaum first held the role of Commercial Attorney from July 2007 to July 2008, overseeing complex contracts for wind turbine projects, before advancing to the position of Vice President and General Counsel, where leadership of the Legal & Compliance Department commenced in July 2008. Academic credentials include a JD from the University of Oregon School of Law and a BA in Political Science from the University of Oregon, complemented by participation in an Executive Development Program at IMD from 2008 to 2009.
