Karsten Dal

Karsten Dal is a Lead Specialist in Onshore Tower Structure at Vestas, where they currently contribute to the design and engineering of wind turbine towers. They have held various engineering and management roles at Vestas since 1996, including positions as Development Engineer and Manager in Technology R&D. Previously, Karsten worked as a Civil Engineer at Steelcon A/S and Vølund Stålteknik A/S, focusing on static and dynamic calculations of steel structures. They also have experience as a Technical Lead at VL Stål. Karsten holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from AUC Esbjerg and a high school diploma in Mathematical/Physics from Varde Gymnasium. They are an active member of multiple standardization committees.
