Steven MacQueen

Steven MacQueen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical writing and offshore supervision within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as a Technical Writer at Vestas since July 2020, Steven previously held the position of Offshore Supervisor at MHI Vestas Offshore Wind and Nordex Group. Prior to entering the offshore wind industry, Steven worked as a Facilities Engineering Manager at Macduff Shellfish and gained experience as a Port Operative/Electrician at Stornoway Port Authority. Early career roles included a Street Lighting Engineer at Midlothian Council and a Meter Reader for Search Consultancy. An Electrical Apprenticeship was completed at UHI, building a strong foundation for a career that began with an apprenticeship as an Electrician at Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar.
