Eric Dowling

Eric Dowling has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Eric began their career in 2007 as a Laborer at S. A. Lewis Construction. In 2014, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Rando Productions, where they collaborated with other design engineers to bring artist sketches to life. Eric then worked as a Mechanical Technician at Special Effects Unlimited, Inc in 2015, where they operated and maintained various special effects equipment. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at SANYO DENKI CO., LTD., where they worked independently on multiple projects and designed value-added products. Since 2018, Eric has been with Vesuvius, first as a Refractory Design Engineer, then as a Senior Design Engineer, and currently as a Lead Technical Design Engineer, managing a team and improving design processes and systems.

Eric Dowling received their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama in 2010. Eric went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southern California, which they completed in 2013.
