Marek Frackiewicz

Marek Frackiewicz has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Marek started their career as an IT Director at Brau Union Poland in 2003. Marek then worked as the Group CIO at Vattenfall Poland from 2005 to 2008. From 2008 to 2019, Marek served as the Group CIO at PKN ORLEN S.A., a significant petroleum company. In 2011, they became a Member of the Supervisory Board at ORLEN Centrum Serwisowe, a role they held until 2019. Marek was also a Member of the Supervisory Board at Vattenfall Business Services Poland from 2005 to 2009. In 2010, they joined Unipetrol Services as an Executive Board Member, holding the position until 2016. In 2012, Marek became a Member of the Supervisory Board at ORLEN Ochrona, a role they held until 2017. From 2019 to 2022, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Vesuvius Sp. z o.o., a company specializing in manufacturing and services. Currently, Marek is the Global CIO at Vesuvius since 2019 and a Board Member at Vesuvius Distribution Pvt. Ltd. / Vesuvius IT and Shared Services Pvt. Ltd. since 2022.

Marek Frackiewicz obtained their MSc in Engineering from Gdańsk University of Technology, where they studied from 1987 to 1994.
