Sujit Sarkar

Sujit Sarkar is an accomplished engineering and process management professional with extensive experience in the foundry and fused silica sectors. Currently serving as the Global Director of Engineering & Process for Vesuvius, Sujit has successfully led a comprehensive three-year strategy across 23 manufacturing sites, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and process safety through automation and digital transformation. Previous roles include Global Senior Manager and Global Process & Engineering Manager, where Sujit managed substantial annual CAPEX, drove AI-focused projects, and facilitated large-scale manufacturing transitions. Prior to Vesuvius, Sujit held various engineering management positions at Foseco and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur and a Master of Management Studies in Financial Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
