David Johnson is an experienced engineering assessor with a robust background in vocational education and training. Currently employed at VETASSESS since February 2017, David previously served as a Course Coordinator at Baxter Institute, where responsibilities included training and mentoring students in engineering fabrication, resource development, and staff management. Prior to that, David worked as a Training Advisor at Extractives Industry Training Organisation in New Zealand, focusing on gas sector training, and as an engineering tutor at the Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Fabrication & Welding Competences, a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, and a City & Guilds Tertiary Teaching Qualification in Adult and Continuing Education.
