Michael Higgins

Michael Higgins has a long history of work experience in the technology and telecommunications fields. Michael started their career in 2000 as an Information Technology/ Telecommunications Specialist in the US Army. After being honorably discharged, they began working for Comcast as a Telecommunications Technician in 2005. In 2012, they joined CSI Software as a Software Support Specialist, and in 2013 they began working for OneSource Building Technologies as an IT Project Manager and Director of Operations. In 2017, they founded and became CEO of Vetcore Technology LLC, a diverse technology-based solutions provider. Additionally, they have been the Moderator of the Houston Veterans Network on LinkedIn.com since 2010.

Michael Higgins completed their education history beginning with Klein Forest High School from 1996 to 2000. Michael then obtained an Associate of Business Administration from American InterContinental University from 2006 to 2007. After that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University from 2007 to 2010. Michael continued their studies at DeVry University's Keller Graduate School of Management and obtained their Masters in Information Systems Management from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, Michael Higgins obtained a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco. Michael also obtained an Advanced Information Assurance and Security- Government Certificate from Villanova University from 2012 to 2013.
