Veteran Aware will be a place to discover programs, scholarships, treatment facilities, foundations, and veteran owned businesses by location and concentration.

It’ll be somewhere that veterans can come to and not feel alone by hearing stories from kin, while simultaneously helping draw an awareness to the veteran epidemic in the mental health sector.

It was founded by Army Veteran, Melissa Anne. Like many vets, she had grown tired of seeing military friends seemingly losing faith and dropping like flies both in the civilian sector and while still serving.

Whether it was being a victim to substance misuse, feeling without purpose, or becoming a slave to their darkness, imprisoned by their demons. It broke her heart hearing of yet another military member gone too soon.
