Randy Levander

Director Of Business Development at Veterans Leadership Program

Randy Levander has a diverse range of work experience, beginning with their role as Combat Arms Instructor in the United States Air Force Security Forces from 1995 to 2003. Randy then worked as an Agent for Mutual of Omaha from 2003 to 2005 before starting their own agency, the Randy Levander Agency, where they served as the Owner from 2005 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2015, Levander joined VetAdvisor Services at Three Wire Systems, where they held multiple roles. As a Business Development Executive, they developed contractual and collaborative relationships with various entities and assisted with strategic planning. Randy also served as a Lead Deployment & Reintegration Coach/Veterans Court Lead Military Coach/Lead Financial Coach, where they developed workflows and provided cross-functional training.

In 2013, Levander took on a co-authorship role for the financial management chapter of "Promoting Successful Integration," published by the Borden Institute for the United States Army. This book was primarily distributed to wounded, injured, and ill soldiers within the Army's Warrior Transition Command.

Levander then joined the Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania in 2015, first serving as a Veteran's Justice Outreach until October 2018. Randy currently holds the position of Director Of Business Development.

Randy Levander has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Chapman University. Randy also received training in Active Shooter Incident Management-Advanced from C3 Pathways. Randy has completed Dave Ramsey's Counselor Training and participated in the Veterans Courts Planning Initiative Training offered by Justice for Vets. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as ALERRT Active Attack Integrated Response Instructor, ALERRT Level I Instructor, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals Instructor, M5-33 NATO NCO Orientation Course, and Exterior Response to Active Shooter Events (ERASE) Instructor. Randy is also certified as a Pistol Instructor and Chief Range Safety Officer by the National Rifle Association. Randy has further training as a Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events Instructor from ALERRT and has completed the Mental Health First Aid for Veterans program offered by the National Council for Behavioral Health. Randy's education history also includes their time in the United States Air Force, where they received training in Combat Arms, Security Police, and Air Base Ground Defense.
