Vets Around the Corner is a full-service small animal hospital located in the heart of historic downtown Port Perry, Ontario — where modern medicine meets small-town compassion.

Our clinic was founded on a simple belief: every pet deserves individualized, collaborative, and compassionate care. From preventive medicine and surgery to advanced diagnostics, dental care, and chronic disease management, we treat each patient as if they were our own. We take the time to listen, to understand, and to tailor every visit to the needs of both pet and family.

In just over a year, Vets Around the Corner has become one of the fastest-growing veterinary practices in Central Ontario — proudly serving thousands of pets across Scugog and Durham Region. Our growth reflects the trust our community places in us, and we’re deeply honoured to have been named:
🏆 #1 Animal Hospital in Scugog (2025 Readers’ Choice Awards)
🏆 #1 Veterinary Service in Port Perry
🏆 #1 Overall Business Service in Scugog
🏆 Home to the #1 and #2 Veterinarians in Scugog

Our team includes experienced veterinarians, registered veterinary technicians, animal care assistants, and customer service representatives who share one vision — to redefine what exceptional veterinary care feels like. We operate with transparency, empathy, and respect, ensuring that every client feels supported, informed, and valued.

Vets Around the Corner is also proud to collaborate with local animal-welfare groups, first responders, and community partners to improve access to veterinary care and strengthen the human-animal bond across our region.

Whether you’re a lifelong resident or visiting our beautiful lakeside town, you’ll find that we’re more than just an animal hospital — we’re your neighbours, your advocates, and your partners in care.

🐾 Vets Around the Corner – Individualized. Collaborative. Compassionate.
