Katie Sizer

Katie Sizer, DVM, is a seasoned veterinary professional with extensive experience in various roles within the veterinary field. Currently, Katie serves as Partner Owner Veterinarian at Vets Pets since June 2022, overseeing operations at Haw River Animal Hospital. Previously, Katie held the position of Area Chief of Staff at Banfield Pet Hospital from June 2015 to August 2022, where responsibilities included mentoring and managing multiple teams across several locations. Additional roles at Banfield included Chief of Staff and Associate Veterinarian, focusing on preventive and acute care. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Veterinarian at Creedmoor Road Animal Hospital and CareFirst Animal Hospital, as well as research technician positions at North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Katie holds a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Methodist University.
