David Merrick

David Merrick is a Senior Software Engineer at Vevo since September 2017, previously serving as a Software Engineer at Jive Software from September 2014 to June 2017. At Jive Software, David built and enhanced a Java/TestNG-based UI and API test framework and contributed to CI pipelines using Jenkins. David also created two Chrome extensions with NodeJS, React, and Redux, and conducted training for new team members. Earlier roles include Systems Administrator at Holden Village, Software Engineering Intern at Jive Software, Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University, and Web Developer for Jane Meyers and Michelle Barry Franco. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University, completed in 2014.
