Magnus Olson

Magnus Olson has held various senior roles in the field of data and production. Magnus is currently serving as the Chief Data Officer at Vexcel Data Program since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior VP Data & Production at Geomni from April 2017 to January 2020, and as the VP Data & Production from January 2016 to March 2017. Before joining Geomni, they held positions at Xactware where they served as the AVP Geospatial Data Services from April 2015 to December 2015 and as the Director Imagery Services from July 2012 to April 2015. Magnus Olson also gained experience in sales and management roles at Blom, where they worked as the AVP Sales from July 2011 to July 2012, as the BIS Sales Director from May 2010 to September 2011, as the BlomURBEX Operations Manager from April 2009 to May 2010, and as the BlomURBEX Product Manager from January 2009 to March 2009. In addition, they held the position of Sales Manager at GE Energy - Smallworld from February 2007 to January 2009. Prior to that, they worked at Genasys II Spain as the Sales Manager EMEA from September 2004 to February 2007 and as the Project Manager/Account Manager from October 1999 to September 2004.

Magnus Olson obtained a BSc in Electronic Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology between 1994 and 1999. Additionally, they pursued studies in Spanish at the University of Gothenburg from 1997 to 1998 and in Industrial Engineering at Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 1996 to 1997.
