Regulatory Affairs & QA Lead at Vexev

Mona Edrisi has been working in the quality assurance and regulatory affairs field since 2004. Mona started as an intern QC/QA Officer at Zam Zam Cola Co. in 2004. In 2005, they moved to Pars Makan Chemical Co. Ltd. as a Research Engineer/Assistant. From 2010 to 2012, they held two positions at The University of Sydney, School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant-casual. During this time, they prepared engineered food and pharmaceutical powders, improved the spray drying process for sugar-rich food and pharmaceutical powders, and supervised, trained and supported students in the lab. From 2012 to 2016, they were Quality Control Officer at Manna From Heaven & The Sydney Biscuit Co., performing in-line and after production quality checks and sensory analysis, preparing labels, and ensuring the compliance with the standard guidelines. From 2016 to 2018, they were Quality Assurance Engineer at AllVascular, maintaining the QMS to ensure the company's compliance with all relevant standards. Since 2018, they have been Quality and Regulatory Manager at Sabre Medical, and since 2021, they have been Regulatory Affairs and QA Lead at Vexev.

Mona Edrisi's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from The University of Sydney, obtained between 2012 and 2016. Mona also holds a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering- Food Industry from Tehran Science & Research Azad University, obtained between 2005 and 2008. Her Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering- Food Industry was also obtained from Tehran Science & Research Azad University, between 2000 and 2005. Additionally, Mona has obtained various certifications, such as a MDD to MDR Transition Course from BSI in October 2018, an ISO 13485: 2016 Clause by Clause from BSI in August 2018, a Leading with Emotional Intelligence from LinkedIn in July 2018, an Introduction to Instrumentation and Process Control from the University of Sydney and Schneider Electric Australia in July 2012, a HACCP System Requirement from Global Quality Services UK Ltd. in May 2006, and a Safety Seminar on Swagelok products from Swagelok Eastern Australia and New Zealand in May 2015.
