Adam Johnson has been working in the IT industry since 2005. Adam began their career as a PC/Network Technician, Website Manager, and iOS Specialist at Aberdeen School District. In 2011, they joined Network Services Northwest as a Systems Engineer. In 2012, they moved to Grays Harbor Community Hospital as a Network Administrator. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Rognlins Construction as an IT Manager. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at Washington State Department of Corrections in various roles, such as IT Chief Architect, Domain Services IT Manager, and ITS5 - IT Supervisor. Most recently, they have been working at Veza as a Solutions Engineer since 2022.

Adam Johnson's education history includes graduating from Aberdeen High School in 2007, completing an A.S. Network Systems Administration from DeVry University in 2012, and currently pursuing a Certified Government CIO (CGCIO) from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. Adam has also obtained certifications from VMware and Microsoft, including VMware Certified Associate - Data Center Virtualization, Microsoft Office Expert: Microsoft Word 2010 Expert, Microsoft Technology Associate: Networking Fundamentals, Microsoft Technology Associate: Security Fundamentals, Microsoft Technology Associate: Windows Operating System Fundamentals, and Microsoft Technology Associate: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals.
