Jake Seid

Jake Seid is a co-founder and general partner at Ballistic Ventures, established in December 2021, which specializes in early-stage cybersecurity and security-related venture investments, managing over $700 million in assets and having funded over 100 cyber companies. Seid serves as an investor in multiple firms including Abnormal Security, Netskope, Veza, Moderne, Drata, Talon Cyber Security, Offchain Labs, Cresta, and Brex. Notably, Talon Cyber Security was acquired by PANW in December 2023, marking the largest venture-backed cyber acquisition of the year. Jake Seid holds both a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
