Jan Starc

Jan Starc is an experienced software engineer with a background in backend development and team leadership. Currently employed at Veza since September 2024, Jan previously worked at HYCU, Inc. from November 2020 to October 2024, where responsibilities included project tech lead, managing a development team, and providing tier 3 support. Jan's technical expertise encompasses core technologies such as Java, Python, Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Git, and REST API. Prior experience includes IT course lecturing and tutoring at GO Consulting d.o.o. and maintenance of IT infrastructure at S&T Slovenija d.d. Jan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science and a Master's degree in Bank and Financial Management from the University of Ljubljana.
