Moti Rafalin

CEO & Co-Founder at vFunction

Moti Rafalin is the CEO and Co-Founder of vFunction. Moti has also served as the Interim CEO of LearnUp, Senior Vice President of BlackBerry, and Executive in Residence of Shasta Ventures.

Rafalin began their career as a software engineer and quickly moved into management and executive roles. Moti co-founded Certora, a software company that provides verification and analysis tools for critical software systems. Moti then served as the CEO of Cyberstarts, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage startups.

In 2015, Rafalin joined Zoom Video Communications as the Senior Vice President. Moti helped transition WatchDox into BlackBerry (WatchDox became BlackBerry Workspaces). Moti left Zoom Video Communications after only six months to join Baffle, Inc. as an executive.

In 2016, Rafalin became the Executive in Residence of Shasta Ventures. Moti advised startups and helped them with strategic planning and fundraising. Moti also stepped in as the Interim CEO of LearnUp, a Shasta Ventures portfolio company. Moti structured and executed the sale of LearnUp to ManpowerGroup in February 2017.

Rafalin is now the CEO and Co-Founder of vFunction, a software company that provides tools to help developers build better software faster.

Moti Rafalin has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc. (Summa Cum Laude) in Aerospace Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
