Markus Menzel

Markus Menzel is the Fachbereichsleiter at Verkehrsgesellschaft Frankfurt am Main (VGF), where they have worked since 2016, building on a decade of experience in operational planning. Previously, Markus served as a Reisebusfahrer in long-distance travel and as a Betriebsplaner for public transport systems at Transdev. They began their career in the German Federal Armed Forces, completing service as a Zeitsoldat from 1999 to 2003. Markus holds a Diplom in Business Administration from Bundeswehrfachhochschule Koblenz, earned between 2003 and 2004. Their interests include buses, trams, alternative drive concepts, and motorbikes.
