The VGH Thrift Store is a volunteer-run, community-driven nonprofit supporting patient care and healthcare programs across Vancouver Coastal Health.

We are proud to support Vancouver Coastal Health through community-driven fundraising and volunteer engagement.

Every donation and purchase directly contributes to essential equipment, comfort items, and services that enhance care at Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Hospital, and other VCH sites.

Our Impact

We transform community donations into meaningful support for local healthcare — helping improve patient experiences, support recovery, and strengthen care across our region.

Our Volunteers

Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. From sorting donations to supporting customers, they create a welcoming, community-focused environment while helping deliver meaningful impact across local healthcare.

Get Involved

By shopping, donating, or volunteering, you are directly supporting patients, families, and healthcare teams across Vancouver.

With gratitude and respect, we acknowledge that we live, work, and gather on the ancestral, traditional, and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəyəm, Sḵwxwú7mesh, and Selílwitulh Nations.
