Shaowei

Shaowei Ma is a software engineer with a diverse background in developing and maintaining web applications. Currently, at VGW since November 2022, Shaowei manages infrastructure on AWS using Terraform. Previously, at Wiser Solutions, Inc. from August 2022 to November 2022, Shaowei continued to work within the Snooper team after its acquisition, focusing on similar responsibilities. During time at Snooper from March 2021 to November 2022, core features for in-house and client-facing platforms were developed using technologies such as React and Redux-Saga. Earlier experience includes a web development internship at Testpoint™, where a Jira Plugin was developed, and a database development internship at Prophit Systems, where an essential tracking tool was transitioned online. Additionally, technical support engineering experience at Guodian Nanjing Automation Co., Ltd. involved software and hardware testing, customer training, and on-site software problem resolution. Shaowei holds a Master’s Degree in IT from UNSW and a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering and its automation from South China University of Technology.
