Tom O'Brien is a seasoned operational risk expert and people leader with over 17 years of experience across various risk disciplines. Currently serving as the VP of Risk Operations at VGW since 2025, Tom has previously held significant roles such as Director of Operational Risk at Flutter Entertainment and Head of Fraud at Paddy Power Betfair, demonstrating a strong track record in fraud prevention, customer risk management, and regulatory compliance. Tom earned an MBS in Management Consulting from UCD Michael Smurfit School of Business and a BComm in Commerce from the University of Galway.
