Nina Lapres

Nina LaPres is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in accounting, administration, and journalism. Currently serving as a Staff Accountant and previously as an Administrative Assistant at Virginia Housing since August 2021, Nina has also gained experience at Lexington Cooperative as a Team Member from March 2018 to May 2022. Prior roles include an internship with The Public Newspaper, where Nina created spotlight and feature articles, and writing for various publications such as TheOdysseyOnline.com and Artvoice Newspaper. Nina's early career included sales and customer service positions, where strong communication skills were honed. Nina holds a Master of Library & Information Science from East Carolina University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Journalism from Canisius University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from St. Bonaventure University.
