Garrett Brinker

Garrett Brinker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public policy, urban innovation, and partnerships. Currently serving as a Board Member at the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition since February 2024, Garrett has held key roles at Via as Partnerships Director and Partnerships Principal since March 2020, focusing on transforming public transit systems. Prior to this, Garrett worked at Neighborly as Chief of Staff and Product Manager, modernizing access to public finance. Additional experience includes serving as Policy Innovation Lead at City Innovate Foundation, Deputy Director of Hall Management for the 2016 Democratic National Convention Committee, and as a Federal Policy Researcher at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy. Garrett's early career included significant internships at The White House and Obama for America, as well as research roles at the University of Chicago. Garrett holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Biology from the University of Chicago.
