Jake Burrows is a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Central Florida, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Viable Engineering Solutions, Jake contributes to engineering and automation projects utilizing Siemens NX and performing finite element analysis (FEA). As the President of the UCF Chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Jake oversees club operations and manages external project teams that compete nationally. Previous internship experiences include positions at NextEra Energy, Inc. and Newport News Shipbuilding, where Jake enhanced engineering processes and supported nuclear projects. Additionally, Jake participated in a job shadow experience at Enercon Services, gaining insights into the energy industry.
