James Wright

James Wright has a diverse range of experience in the technology industry. James co-founded Intelligent Query Engines, Inc. in 1990 and served as the CEO and Chief Engineer. The company initially focused on commercializing a database technology for AI and Expert Systems communities, but later shifted to providing custom application development services. In 1999, James joined Dash.com as the Director of Database Development. In this role, they were responsible for database development activities. From 2001 to 2005, they worked at Unisys as a System Architect, leading the architecture and delivery of consulting services focused on Microsoft Windows in enterprise datacenter environments. Since 2005, James has been with viagogo, initially as the CTO and later also taking on the role of VP of Engineering. Viagogo is an online secondary ticket exchange platform where James plays a key role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for ticket buying and selling.

James Wright completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from SUNY Oneonta in the years 1982 to 1986. James then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Syracuse University from 1985 to 1987. Lastly, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University from 1988 to 1989.
