Carlos Ramos has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being the Chief Executive Officer at Viakable since May 2022. Prior to that, Carlos served as the President of the Mexico business at Viakable from May 2020 to May 2022. Before joining Viakable, they worked at Metalsa, where they held several leadership roles. These included their role as the President of the Mexico region, overseeing multiple facilities and sequencing centers from an operational and strategic standpoint. Carlos was also the Plant Director at Metalsa's largest facility in Apodaca, responsible for global standardization and innovation. Additionally, Carlos served as the Managing Director for Europe, Asia & South Africa Operations at Metalsa, managing turnaround situations for seven profit centers. Carlos has also held executive positions at Grupo Proeza, where they were the CEO of Zánitas Hospital and the CEO of the Foundry division. Carlos began their career as a Plant Manager at Acuity Brands.
Carlos Ramos attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2011, where they completed the Stanford Executive Program. From 2017 to 2018, they attended IPADE Business School for an Executive program (D-1). Carlos obtained a Master's Degree in Science and quality from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they studied from 1990 to 1993. In 2019, they completed an online course in Scaling Operations through Coursera - Online University.
