Eric Green has worked in the software engineering industry since 1999. In 1999, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Enhanced Software Technologies, where they were the principal architect and co-designer of BRU Server backup software. In 2001, they started working as a Software Engineer at DISC Storage LLC, where they implemented DISCStor-NAS backup appliance in Java and designed and implemented DISCStor/NAS-HA clustered NAS, including the distributed database, data replication subsystems, and cluster management system in C, Java, and Ruby. In 2003, they began working as a Software Engineer at Agami Systems. In 2006, they started working as a Senior Software Engineer at Resilience, where they implemented a new HA and monitoring infrastructure in C and created a RHEL5 based appliance distribution. In 2009, they began working as a Principal Engineer at VPEP Technology Corporation, where they were the co-architect, lead designer of a Python-based management infrastructure, and team lead/manager of implementation team. In 2010, they started working as a Senior Software Engineer at Intransa, where they participated in the architectural design of virtualized clustered storage appliance, VDMR virtualized video storage platform, and VNN network monitoring products. In 2013, they began working as a Staff Engineer at Viakoo, Inc., where they were part of the founding engineering team. Eric'sroles included sustaining engineering of StorStac iSCSI storage appliance code stack, DevOps and development for Cloud SaaS in Java / Grails / Groovy / Hibernate / Postgres / Drools rules engine.
Eric Green attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1985 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
