Eddie Sharkey

Eddie Sharkey is the Global Head of Sales & Partnerships at Viam since August 2023, leading initiatives for a software platform that enables the development and management of smart machines. Prior to Viam, Eddie held the position of Head of Global ISV Business at MongoDB from September 2013 to August 2023, where efforts focused on transitioning Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to MongoDB to enhance performance and revenue. Earlier, Eddie served as a Senior Enterprise Account Executive and a Technology Account Director at Oracle from June 1996 to August 2013, achieving significant sales success and receiving multiple awards for performance excellence. Eddie holds a degree in IT from Dundalk Institute of Technology, earned between 1989 and 1991.
