Burkhard Straube

Burkhard Straube is the Chief Executive Officer of Vianode. They previously held multiple leadership roles at DyStar from 2000 to 2009, including Head of Marketing, Head of Region EMEA, Group Vice President, and Head of Global Sales and the Leather and Performance Chemicals business segment. They also served at BASF from 1998 to 2000 as Marketing Director and, in addition, as Senior Key Account Manager for pigments and additives for plastics covering the South East of the USA and California, as well as in Market Research and Product Management for light stabilizers. At SGL Carbon in 2010 they were Vice President Marketing and Sales for the Carbon Fibers and Composites Business Unit and held the roles of President of the Graphite Materials and Systems Business Unit and Chairman of the New Markets and Carbon Fibers and Composite Materials Business Units. They studied Betriebswirtschaft at ESB Reutlingen (1991–1993) and attended Middlesex University (1989–1991).
