Nathan Benton

Nathan Benton has over 14 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Nathan began their career in 2006 at CommScope as a Regional Technical Manager. In this role, they were responsible for steering customers IT infrastructure specifications for CommScope fiber optic and copper solutions. Nathan then moved up to Technical Director - North American Region, where they directed a team of 20 technical managers and three regional technical managers for $600M Enterprise sales across North America. Nathan then took on the role of Vice President of Technical Sales - North American Region, where they directed a team of 33 Field Application Engineers and four Directors for Enterprise, Telco, Hyperscale and Multi-tenant data center accounts in North America. Nathan is currently the Vice President Sales at viaPhoton, where they lead a team of Global Account Managers and Field Application engineers in developing a strategic approach for engaging Cloud SaaS and IaaS providers.

Nathan Benton has a Master of Science Business IT - MSBIT from Walsh College in Information Assurance, a Bachelor of Science from Park University in CJA, a Data Center Design Consultant (DCDC) certification from BICSI obtained in September 2011, a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification from BICSI obtained in August 1999, and a Network Technology Systems Designer (NTS) certification from BICSI obtained in May 2000.
