Burt Park

Burt Park is the Chief Governance Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Viatris. He has been with Viatris since 2021.

Burt is a seasoned executive who has advised boards of directors and executive management of highly regulated companies on corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, healthcare regulation, litigation, SEC compliance and general corporate matters. In his current role, Burt provides strategic advice and counsel to the Viatris Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Viatris, Burt spent a decade at Molina Healthcare, a publicly traded Fortune 200 managed care company, where he last held the position of Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary. In this capacity, he advised executive management and the board of directors on a range of legal and business matters, including serving as lead counsel on numerous strategic transactions. He also worked as an attorney in the corporate department of Latham & Watkins, where he advised public and private companies and investment funds on mergers & acquisitions, strategic investments, corporate governance and SEC compliance.

Burt is a guest lecturer on corporate governance and mergers & acquisitions, and serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
