Simon Devos is the current VIB Proteomics Core Manager at VIB. Previously, Simon worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universiteit Gent, where Simon focused on researching the influence of hypo- and hypergravity on yeast for the European Space Agency, as well as studying gut metaproteomics to investigate chicken necrotic enteritis for Evonik Industries. Simon graduated with a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Ghent University in 2015 after completing their Master's Degree in Biochemistry in 2011.
