Sofie Coelus

Sofie Coelus is a Business Development Manager at VIB since December 2021, where responsibilities include establishing and executing the business and marketing strategy for VIB Technologies, focusing on health, agriculture, and industrial biotechnology. Sofie also serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of Blauwe Cluster and previously held the position of Market Manager at Primoris Belgium, overseeing laboratory services and key accounts, while driving research projects and market strategies. From March 2016 to September 2020, Sofie worked as a Technical Application Engineer, developing analytical solutions across various industries. Prior experience includes leading laboratory services and scientific research at Ghent University, with a strong foundation in food research and safety. Sofie holds a Master's degree in Biowetenschappen from Ghent University.
