Tom Viaene holds a Master's degree in Biology from KU Leuven. Tom has extensive experience in research and development, including roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at VIB-UGent and VIB, where Tom worked on microbiome studies and auxin transport research. Tom also co-founded Aphea.Bio and currently serves as the Manager of New Ventures at VIB, focusing on driving scientific discoveries into new biotech ventures.
