Miha Prebil

Miha Prebil has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Miha started as a CEO at Omnius d.o.o., where they focused on e-commerce and new advertising approaches. Miha managed day-to-day operations, developed web tools for marketing, and worked with numerous Slovenian companies. At the Centre of Excellence for Biosensors, Instrumentation and Process Control, Miha served as COO at COINVEST International, where they coordinated startup investment readiness training and coaching and managed web platform development. Miha also worked as an assistant and researcher at the Laboratory for Open Innovation Systems, conducting research in design thinking, innovation, and SMEs success factors. In 2015, they became CEO of COINVEST, a platform connecting startups and venture investors, and organized a large startup investment conference. Miha also worked as a project manager at Startup Cafe Ljubljana, a monthly meetup for entrepreneurs and innovators, and as a product manager at Receipt Bank, where they worked on the development of an automated accounting platform. Currently, Miha is serving as the Chief Product Officer at Viberate, analyzing data from various platforms to provide actionable insights for music business professionals.

Miha Prebil has a strong educational background in the field of economics and finance. From 2004 to 2009, they attended the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Finance. Miha furthered their studies at the same institution, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from 2010 to 2017. Additionally, in 2006 and 2007, Miha Prebil studied at Niels Brock, where they focused on finance.
