Justin Kim

Justin (Dong Jun) Kim is an in-house lawyer and privacy expert with approximately six years of legal experience. They have worked as a Senior Solicitor at Chapman Tripp and currently serve as a Principal Privacy Advisor and Privacy Officer for the NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, where they advise on privacy issues related to the National Ticketing Solution project. Justin has also held roles as a Legal Adviser for the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and as a Law Clerk for Crown Law. In addition to their legal career, they teach guitar and continue to pursue their passion for music while maintaining their practicing certificate with the New Zealand Law Society. They obtained an LLB(Hons) and a BA in Media Studies and Religious Studies from Victoria University of Wellington.
