Kumuda Simpson

Kumuda Simpson is a Senior Policy Advisor at the Department of Government Services, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, Kumuda served as a Senior Policy Officer at the First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria and the Yoorrook Justice Commission, as well as a Senior Advisor for Natural Resource Management with the Federation of Victorian Traditional Owner Corporations. Kumuda has also worked as an Electorate Officer for Michaela Settle in the Parliament of Victoria. Kumuda's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in International Relations and National Security Studies from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma of Teaching and Learning from Charles Darwin University.
