Michael Carabott has over 15 years of experience in procurement and sourcing management across various sectors. From July 2008 to July 2021, Michael held several roles at Ericsson, culminating as Strategic Sourcing Manager, responsible for indirect procurement in Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea, along with HR spend categories across South East Asia and Oceania. Prior to this, Michael served as a Junior Sourcing Associate and a Sourcing Business Partner for the South East Asian Region, managing a $100 million portfolio and leading a team of Strategic Sourcing Managers. After Ericsson, Michael transitioned to the Department of Treasury and Finance in Victoria as Senior Sourcing and Category Manager from July 2021 to December 2023.
