Rhys Benny

Rhys Benny is a public sector professional with over 20 years of experience in government, specializing in corporate services, community service delivery, and organisational transformation. Currently serving as the Director of Licensing & Transactions at the Department of Government Services, Rhys has previously held significant roles such as Director of Information and Corporate Services at Consumer Affairs Victoria and Director of Corporate Services for the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System. Rhys has contributed to various not-for-profit boards and advised on consumer policy at Commonwealth Treasury. Rhys holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Canberra, along with certifications in governance and risk from the Governance Institute of Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
