Mason Zhang

Mason Zhang is a Senior Data Engineer at Vicinity Centres since December 2018, with prior experience as a Software Engineer at Hit IQ and Invetech, where Mason specialized in medical device software development. Career highlights include embedded software development for ARM Cortex M4 chips and control of various hardware components, alongside roles at Leica Biosystems, CellOS Software Limited, Minelab Metal Detectors, Nokia, Destinator Technologies, and Panasonic, where Mason contributed to innovative projects such as the first touch-enabled Nokia Series 40 phone, and developed tools for navigation devices and GPS functions. Mason holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology from Xi'an Jiaotong University, completed in 2004.
