Melissa Clarkson

Melissa Clarkson currently serves as the General Manager of Sustainability & ESG at Vicinity Centres, a position held since June 2024. Prior to this role, Melissa was the Head of Sustainability at the Port of Melbourne from September 2021 to May 2024, focusing on sustainability initiatives at Australia’s largest capital city container and general cargo port. Melissa has extensive experience in corporate responsibility, having held managerial roles at Tabcorp and ME Bank, in addition to serving as Chair and Non-Executive Director at Juno, an organization supporting women and gender-diverse individuals. Previous positions include Principal Advisor at Mycelia Group and Head of Sustainability at Transurban. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science from The Australian National University and additional qualifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Swinburne University of Technology.
