Shaun Powell

Shaun Powell is an accomplished Leasing Executive at Vicinity Centres since October 2016, with extensive experience in both static and development leasing across several shopping centres. Notable roles include managing Mount Pleasant and Whitsunday Plaza (2019-2021), leading project leasing at Runaway Bay Shopping Centre (2021-2022), and overseeing DFO Brisbane (2022-2023) and Harbour Town Premium Outlet Centre (2023-present). Shaun has held multiple Centre Manager positions, including managing The Myer Centre, the largest retail asset in Brisbane’s CBD, and leading a team at Mount Ommaney focused on community engagement. Previous experience includes Centre Manager at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and Novion Property Group, as well as various roles at QIC from 2008 to 2014. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology and completed education at Brisbane Boys Grammar.
