Stefan Battermann

Stefan Battermann is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in information technology, operations technology, and IoT. Currently serving as the Director of IT, OT and IoT at Vicinity Energy since January 2020, Stefan is focused on building comprehensive IT systems from the ground up. Prior experience includes over a decade at Veolia North America as the Director of Automation and Integration, overseeing teams and operations technology for numerous water, wastewater, energy, and industrial facilities. Previous roles encompass significant IT leadership positions, including IT Director at Veolia North America and The Trigen Companies, where accomplishments included server virtualization, disaster recovery solutions, and large-scale IT infrastructure revamps. Stefan began professional career as a Project Engineer at United Thermal Corporation and holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Messiah University.
