John Porter

John Porter has extensive work experience spanning over three decades. John began their career in 1990 as a Biomechanics Research Assistant at the United States Olympic Committee. From 1991 to 2005, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Peak Performance Technologies, Inc., where they played a key role in product development, user interface design, and quality assurance. John joined Vicon Motion Systems, Inc. in 2005 and served as a Senior Application Engineer. In this role, they led special R&D projects, collaborated with developers to ensure feature requirements were met, and crafted comprehensive test plans. Overall, John has proven expertise in application software development, user requirements and specifications, and biomechanics research.

John Porter completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from The College of Wooster, where they attended from 1983 to 1987. Afterward, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Biomechanics from the University of Iowa, from 1988 to 1990.
