John Sturm

John Sturm has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. John started their career as the Chief Engineer at Grayhill in 1989 and worked there until 1994. Following that, they joined TDK as a Business Development Engineer from 1994 to 1997. In 1997, they joined Vicor Corporation and held various roles, including Director of Sales and Vice President of Sales, until 2021. In September 2021, they became the Global Vice President of the Aerospace & Defense Business Unit at Vicor Corporation. Additionally, in July 2021, they became the President of Vicor Development Corp.

John Sturm obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Marketing/Finance from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. John also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Illinois Institute of Technology, which they earned between 1985 and 1990. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Math and Science at Prairie State College from 1981 to 1984. Furthermore, they graduated from Hinsdale South High School in 1977, having pursued a College Prep program. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Management Analytics certification from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in December 2013. John also has certifications in Change Management, Marketing, and Strategy and Execution from the same institution, although the specific time of acquisition is not provided for these certifications.
